This is one of my favorites shots, even though I admit that it was 100% a lucky shot. I spotted the Heron standing still on Arrecifes Beach in Tayrona Park in northern Colombia, an hour outside Santa Martha. I got my camera ready to take a picture. It started to fly and I just followed it with my lens and snapped. I didn’t even think about what setting I was on.
